Australian billionaire Clive Palmer is moving ahead with plans to build a full-scale replica of the ill-fated Titanic. Palmer’s Blue Star Line has signed a contract with Finland-based Deltamarin for the project development phase for Titanic II.
Palmer says the new vessel will sail from Southampton to New York on its maiden voyage in 2016.
