In the infographic survey below taken by Cruise Critic, liquor tops number one in the duty free items purchased by Caribbean cruisers.
After more than a decade cruising, I opt for locally made items to purchase, and often pass up the liquor deals as we travel light these days. We normally book our own tours to avoid the crowd - and it's less cheaper.
On-board money is spent on dining several nights at optional dining restaurants, Wi-Fi access, and those colorful "drinks of the day" my hubby cannot pass up :)
