Crystal Cruises Adds 20 New Ports

Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will visit 182 ports in 59 countries on 60 itineraries next year.

Luxury linen Crystal Cruises has added 20 new ports to its 2012 schedule, in addition to a dozen new itineraries and additional shorter-length cruises.

Here's some of the 2012 sailing options for Crystal Serenity:

Crystal Serenity will stop in Panama, for a maiden call in Panama City rather than just sailing through the canal

March 2012 sailings offer (5) maiden calls in Brazil (Buzios, Ilha Grande, Paraty, Sao Paulo/Santos and Itajai). It includes an overnight in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival

May 2012 sailing on Europe's west coast includes a maiden call at St.-Jean-de-Luz, France in the Basque region

August 2012 Baltic sailing includes a maiden call at Klaipeda, Lithuania, with two overnights in St. Petersburg, Russia

September Eastern Canada sailing includes three maiden calls: Sept-Iles, Magdalen Islands, and little-visited Saint-Pierre/Miquelon, a tiny department of France in the North Atlantic.

Fares, start at $2,755 per person, double occupancy, and include airport/ship transfers and round-trip air from two dozen North American hubs or substantial air credits from other cities.
